Chain Stitch is an ancient technique that Kashmiri artisans have been using since 15th century.

Floral motifs represent ancient Kashmiri artistry, delicately executed with a refined sense of symmetry. To execute the piece, four artisans simultaneously chain stitch woolen strands onto a cotton base where the design has been sketched. The resulting texture and tone are unmatched. The process can take eight to ten days to complete. Imported from Kashmir.
