This wall hanging depicts Kashmir Red Deer ( Cervus Elaphus Hanglu) commonly know as Hangul. Hangul is an endangered species and only 170 of them remain in a Kashmiri National Park

Tapestry was done with chain stitch technique. Chain Stitch is an ancient technique that Kashmiri artisans have been using since 15th century.
